FREE WILL:

If I decided to give you a brand new car today, as my gift to you. You would have only one choice to make. The choice you have is to refuse the car.

The car is something which I have given to you without any merit on your behalf. You have a car which I have given to you. If you do not want it, refuse it.

This is what happens with people in the world today. God freely gives his love to all mankind in the world through His Son Jesus Christ. Much of the world we are told by those who track such information however, refuse His free gift of love.

It seems that we have to in some way help God, help us. As self satisfying as this may make us feel. It simply is not true.

Just as in the illustration above concerning the car. We have nothing to do with the free gift of love from God.We can howeverm reject His love. Fortunately for the believing Christian, there is forgiveness for all of our sins. That forgiveness is also by faith in Jesus Christ.
