Audio, Visual, and Comprehension Distinction.

I contemplated the idea for a long time that the ancient pyramids were built with at least the help of aliens from outer-space. I thought it was virtually impossible for human beings to be that precise with such huge rocks. However, as I look at the state of mankind in this increasingly cynical world, I now know with certainty that human beings can be conned or forced to do anything.

I am constantly amazed at how humankind constantly looks inwardly and outwardly to material things rather than looking upwardly to the Spiritual things. Just in the past couple of weeks we see again a community of people who have allowed themselves to become slaves to a man and his idea of what purity and holiness is. Verses 7-8. Jesus said."I am the gate for the sheep. All who came before me are theives and robbers" Again, in verse 11. He said,"I am the good shepherd who lays down his life for the sheep".

So why would someone who is supposed to be intelligent listen to a mere mortal man tell them to do all of the sinful things of the world, yet claim not to be of the world.

Jesus had every material thing of this world at his disposal, yet he spoke of Spiritual things to come, and he taught of love which comes from The Spirit in this present world.

It is no wonder that people can    

be so easily conned and lead astray.  It seems to me at least that people, inspite of what they say, simply find it hard to trust in the PURE WORD OF GOD.

God is Holy Spirit, not flesh and blood. God must be worshipped in Spirit and in Truth. This requires Faith in The Written Word which became flesh, in order to save us from our mortal sinful selves.

If Jesus did not tell us to become a slave to mortal men and women. Why would someone gladly submit to another human being and become his /her slave to their own detriment? Yet, in the marriage vow which Jesus tells us unites a man and a woman Spiritually as one. We want to strike out all references to obedience and submission.  Lest anyone misunderstand, the obedience and submission which is in the marriage vow, is as to The Lord, not as to flesh and blood. If we are to live on earth and not simply exist. We must begin to live by FAITH IN JESUS, THE GOOD SHEPHERD who has already purchased our eternal souls with his life, death and resurrection.
