I WISH!

I wish that every Black male between the age of 12 years and 30 years old could spend at least one hour a day with a Black man between the age of 65 and 70 years old.

This in my opinion is the one sure way, maybe the only way to earnestly save our young men, thus our Race from the destructive acts we see everyday. Being a highschool dropout, or having been arrested by the time you are 16 years old, is not, I repeat is not a badge of honor.Yet far too many young men seem to go out of their way to accentuate the negative things in life. This concept is much deeper than adolescent rebellion of years gone by. As I recall in the past, even though their were those of us who dared to be a little rebellious. We never forgot to respect our elders and the ladies.

You see, I do not know when this world as we know it is going to come to an abrupt end. I do not even worry about that, I concentrate on life. If the young men of today believe they have it bad. Please find an intelligent man between the age of 65 and 80 years old.

When you find this man, and hopefully he will be someone perhaps in your family. Sit with him

a while and listen to him recite to you the obstacles which were placed before him.

This seasoned man who is worthy of all of our respect will share with you what real trouble is. He will tell you that the fact that a man with Black skin is legitemately running to become the democratic nominee for president of the United States of America is something which he thought would never happen in his lifetime. Yet it is happening today. He will tell you even if Senator Obama does not win the election, the fact is to even be considered he had to prepare himself for this time in his and our lives.

Walking around telling the world to kiss your behind because you do not pull up your pants, will only get you what you have now, nothing. If you are between 12 and 30, please find a gentleman over 65 and ask him to help you become a real man.

If you are ready to listen, he will fill your head and your heart with the knowledge to help you live today and for the rest of your life in this world. He will even help prepare you to be able to hear the Holy Word of God Almighty.
